Lavender also has antiseptic properties and can be dabbed directly onto stings and insect bites and will reduce the pain of minor burns, scalds, sunburn and scapes combating infection at the same time. In addition to this the oil promotes healing and will help reduce scarring.
When used in bathing Lavender is beneficial in the treatment of genito-urinary infections. It will also help fight coughs and throat infections when inhaled.
Lavender Oil releives pain when used for rhematism, arthritis, lumbago and muscular aches and pains especially those associated with sport.
Skin conditions like eczmea, acne,psoriasis, oily skin and athletes foot can be treated with Lavender oil it is also an effective insect repellent and mouthwash.
Method of Use
Burners and Vaporizes
In vapour therapy Lavender Oil can be useful for allergies, anorexia, dizziness, sleeplessness, hay fever, hedaches, depression, trauma, anxiety, fear, nightmares, irritability, nervous tension and as an insect repellant.It can assist help in crisis situations, releive stress and this in turn will help ease tense muscles and muscle spasms.
Blended Massage Oil / Bath
Lavender Oil can be used as amassage oil or diluted in the bath, for abdominal pains, allergies, anorexia, athritis, bowel disorders, fatigue, hay fever, headaches, insomnia, moodiness, anxiety, depression, hysteria, nightmares, fear, nervous tension, stress, and ggod old plain relaxation.
Wash or Cotton Bud
Lavender Oil is great used as wash or dabbed on by a cotton bud for acne, insect bites, xarbuncles, bruises, chilblains, dandruff and lice. Itis also fantastic in this method for arthritis, excemea and sores.
When using lavender oil for inflamatory purposes use in concentrations of less than 1%.
