BERGAMOT 100% PURE ESSENTIAL OIL

Bergamot Oil has a fresh and enlivening auroma which is why it is often ued in aromotherapy, it creates a relaxed and happy feeling. Also used to aid the efects of SAD (Seasonal Affected Disorder) and boosting ones self confidence. Bergamot Oil has superb antiseptic qualities that are useful for skin complaints such as acne, oily skin, eczema and psoriasis it's also beneficial on cold sores, chicken pox and wounds. it may relieve urinary tract infections boosting liver, spleen and stomach issues.

Method of Use

• Burners/ Vaporiser
  Add a few drops to your burner or vaporiser
• Massage/ Bath
  Bergamot Oil can be used as a massage oil or diluted in the bath normally you would add 7 drops of oil to a full bath of water, if oil is added whilst bath is running the oil will evaporate. For children aged 4-12 & elderly 4 drops, for children aged 1-4 & during pregnancy 2 drops and for infants aged under 1 no more than 1 drop. See below for ratios for massage oils. Using Bergamot Oil in these ways will assist with stress, tension, SAD, PMS, skin problems, compulive eating, postnatal depression, colds & flu, anxiety, depression and anorexia.

Precautions
Bergamot Oil may cause burns on sensitive skin which is exposed to the sun, as the high bergoptene content can cause photo-toxicity. It is advised that you keep out of the sun if this oil is used on the skin.

Blends well with:
Bergamot Oil blends well with Black Pepper, Clary sage, Cypress, Frankincese, Geranium, Jasmine, Mandarin, Nutmeg, Orange, Rosemary, Sandalwood, Vetiver, Ylang Ylang.

• Throat - add a few drops to carrier oil and massage

Do not take any essential oil internally. Do not apply undiluted essential oil onto the skin. Seek advice from a qualified aromatherapy practitioner if you are pregnant or before using oils on children. A skin patch test before using any using any oil or blend is recommended. Do not put essential oil near your eyes or mucus membranes. If you happen to get pure essential oil on your skin, apply a vegetable oil to the area first to dilute the oil. Water will only make the oil penetrate the skin quicker. Vegetable oil can be any of your carrier oils or even cooking oil. Discontinue use if any skin irritation occurs.
